The Kramers-Kronig Equation

The two components of the anomalous scattering factor, f" and f', are related by the Kramers-Kronig relationship: [eq. 1]

Once the f" spectrum is obtained experimentally from the sample crystal via fluorescence measurements, the corresponding f' spectrum may be calculated by numerical integration using the above equation.
